Live prices from 8,000 UK forecourts.
Unleaded (E10) averages 161.3p a litre across the 7,829 UK forecourts publishing a price right now, from 129.9p at the cheapest to 239.9p at the most expensive. Updated 31 minutes ago.
Most forecourts sit between 155.9p and 165.9p — a difference of about £5.50 on a 55-litre tank, or roughly £290 a year at a tank a week.
E10 is ordinary unleaded and has been the UK's standard grade since 2021. Nearly every petrol car built from 2011 onwards runs on it, and so do most built before then. A minority of older and classic vehicles need E5 super unleaded instead. The government's E10 vehicle checker settles it in a registration number. Where it is sold, E5 averages 178.7p at 6,177 forecourts, from 135.0p to 249.9p.
3,996 of these forecourts report being open 24 hours a day.
